Weekly we take time to feature missionaries supported by Valley Church and ask that you would take time to pray for them. This week’s missionaries: Church 101 classes will run the following Sunday evenings ~ 9/19, 9/26 & 10/3 ~ at 6:30 p.m. in Rm. 1. Sign ups are required. See the insert in your bulletin for more details… Next Sunday we will celebrate at the Lord’s Table. Participation in the Lord’s Table is open to all who believe in Jesus Christ. We encourage you to prepare for this celebration with an honest and humble time of personal confession to the Lord. Next Sunday we will have an opportunity to give to the Benevolent Fund, which provides aid to needy members of our church family. (You may give toward this fund at any time by making note on the memo line of your check or envelope). It’s that time again! Sign up at the Valley Restart table outside to bring food and supplies for the monthly lunch. Adult Bible Fellowship Classes are a vital part of our church family here at VEFC. We have groups for all ages that meet at 9:00 a.m. on Sunday mornings. Each week you will find an insert in your bulletin highlighting one of our ABF’s and we invite you to join us! New Daily Bread Devotionals are available at the Welcome Table. Jonathan Fengler was unanimously accepted to extend his term as an Elder for another three-year period at the business meeting on August 29, 2010.
