LIONTAMERS ANONYMOUS – GENERAL GOALS

1. To provide a sanctuary within the church where people dealing with the effects of addictions, obsessions, compulsive behavior and their effects on their families can talk openly about their lives and receive encourgement and hope in a safe, anonymous setting.

2. To present Biblical truth coupled with the Twelve Steps as information needed for achieving victory over compulsive habits.

3. To encourage people in their personal spiritual maturity and to share the gospel with those who come to us.

4. To pray for one another.

5. To refer people to appropriate church and community resources where they can obtain needed assistance and counseling.

6. To educate the church about the dangers of compulsive behaviors and about the possibilities of recovery.
