What are "Secret Sisters"?

The term "Secret Sister" has much more meaning than you may realize.  In fact, these women are our spiritual sisters.  As it is in physical familes, so is is in our church family.  We have a responsibility to care for, pray for, and seek blessing for our sisters.  The whole idea is not for you to receive blessings, but for you to be one.

Secret Sister Promise

Promise to spend time praying for her at least once a week.

Promise to be committed for 12 months.

Promise to contact her at least once a month.

Promise to make personal contact thru prayer cards.

Promise to greet and speak to your "secret sis" at church.

Promise to encourage her with notes and cards.

Thoughtful Ideas

.  The more creative and less expensive the better - It's the love and thought behind the gift that matters, not the price.

.  Flowers from your garden.

.  Something you bake - consider attaching the recipe card.

.  Make a craft item.

.  Give a coupon for a cup of coffee or ice-cream.

.  Share you favorite scriptures.

.  Give clues about your identity without revealing your identity. 

.  Pick a theme.

.  Give yourself an identity;  Vera the mouse, Henny Penny...etc.

.  Collection of your favorite recipes - one a month.
